26th May 2007 - Another minor update. The Pick Up was started for the first time today. It runs fast and very hot, which is a little concerning. I shall tune the carb and adjust the timing and hopefully it will come good. I've had the Pick Up for nearly a year now so it was good to hear the new engine running.
29th April 2007 - Another minor update. The engine had to come back out of the pick up to modify the top two holes in the bellhousing. Its back in now and the starter has been modified and fitted, the engine turns over OK and I have a spark. I now need a few bits and pieces to finish it off.
14th December 2006 - Another minor update. The 1.6 engine went into the pick up yesterday, just a few little jobs to do and it will be running. As promised (6 months ago - eek!) a full write up (with lots of pics) on the conversion will follow.
20th July 2006 - First update for nearly a year and only a minor one. Work has been very busy over the last year and problems at home have kept me away from offroading. I have done a few jobs to the Vitara recently but the big news is my acquisition of a new Zuk - a 1986 SJ413KJA Pick Up. I have a 1.6 engine ready to fit and a new engine hoist. As soon as I get some time off work I shall get started. Pics and articles to follow.

2nd June 2002 - The gallery page had started to become a little cumbersome and as I'm still intending to add a lot more content I've revised the site layout, added a new menu structure and catagorized the photos. I'm currently undertaking a number of mods to my car so I'll be adding features about these as they progress. Added a couple more links.
1st May 2002 - Added pics and slideshow of Emily in her SJ410 at Pingewood
13th April 2002 - Added pics of John Sackleys's Vitara now running on 35" tyres!, added a couple more of Dave Jones at Tong.
23rd March 2002 - Two more slideshows added, some new pics of Dave Jones' Vitara and a couple of Andy Whalley's neat little Jimny. All the pics were taken at Tong and I've still got a roll of film to finish so theres some more pics to come. Also added to the misc pics is a lifted Vitara sporting 35" tyres!

27th January 2002 - revamped the links page and added a slide show of James Holloways Bigfoot at Pingewood.
21st January 2002 - added a few more SJ pics. I've also joined the off road and 4 wheel drive web ring, so there's a navigation bar at the bottom of the main page too. I've got some more Vitaras to add shortly as well.
15 January 2002 - I've now had the Telecom engineers in so I'm hoping I'll be able to get a reliable connection from now on Added some pics from the Family Vehicle Trial at Trentham Gardens. I've also got a fair amount of SJ pics so I've started posting these as well starting with a nice action sequence of Andy Bennet at Woodlands.

6th November 2001 - If you've been here before you'll notice a whole new look. I've tried to improve the site navigation, the page is now split into 3 frames with a main menu on the left hand side.
